Application of window decals on your car can be a great way to promote your business or brand. Putting a unique car window decal can make your vehicle more noticeable and grab the attention of everybody who sees it. Window decals if applied at the rear window can serve in a better way in the shape of window tint and a marketing message for your business.

Car decals can also be used to support some political campaign or to spread your word of mouth to the targeted audience. However, some people hesitate to paste the window decals on their cars because they feel that removal of such decals is quite difficult that's why they use business card boxes and custom tissue boxes for the advertisement of the business . In actual, it is not as difficult as it looks if one follows these few simple steps.

Remove Car Decals

  1. Remove dirt from the surrounding area of the decal. This can best be done with a car wash.
  2. Plug in the heating lamp or hair dryer. Make sure to turn on the heating system if you are using a dryer. Put your lamp or dryer few inches above the sticker. Avoid placing the appliance directly on the sticker or the car’s paint.
  3. For a few seconds, place your appliance above the sticker and then started moving it to the rest of the sticker.
  4. In this step, your sticker will be heated enough and you can start your removal process. For removing decals, use credit, debit or any plastic card and place it at an angle so that it can be scraped easily. You can use fingertips to peel of the sticker while scraping it.
  5. Move the plastic card back and forth approximately to three to four times. It would be more appropriate to use razor blade on the car’s window since application of a blade on the car’s paint can damage it. On a window, you can apply a bit heavier pressure to remove the decal if needed.
  6. Continue using your card or blade until it completely removes the decal. It is quite natural that some residues will be left onto the car after removal. Remove the residues with the same tool. You can also apply a remover by making a spray and then clean it with some cloth.
  7. When the sticker and residues are completely removed, polish your car with some glass cleaner.
As you have seen that it requires only a little effort to remove the decal so now you can feel free to purchase your custom car decal and make your vehicle look more awesome without worrying about how you would remove it.
